JOBS

Jobs have been on my mind lately. lol What a shock, I feel this is a rough subject. Reason being because peoples pride get in the way of a job that could help them. For example many people say they couldn't do fast food work industries yet their quick to get food their. Sometimes I want to say be in their shoes, and deal with customers like you, demanding everything. Many people couldnt do yard work or gardening. To me that is top notch. Why? well a lot of people do not wish to work outside and if you do a couple of houses a day, and each day you do the same and charging the same rate, you could be making bank. But because its outside "service" you dont want to do that. I say you as the person who feels they couldnt do that job. Not a certain race or gender but anyone. Another reason, people dislike unreasonable wages. Example, working for a decent sit down, not much to do type job, people request for $10.50 an hour, or $11.00. I really believe you have to work from small to the top. So that 8.75 could turn to 12.75 over time if you work up the chain.

Personally, I dont care for money if I love to do what I do. I am a teacher. (STOP RIGHT THERE WITH THE JOKES). I love working with students and helping them see the joy in something they want to do without the love of money. If my students love dancing and want to become a choerographer for artists, I want to help them. If they love working with others because they love to be helpful... I will help them become social workers. Whatever the case may be, I want them to see the positive of what they want to do instead of what media says about their dreams.
